POTATO CARROT MASHER

Time of preparation:
25 minutes

COOK & SERVE:
Pot 18 cm | 1,5 l
Shallow pot 18 cm | 0,6 l

For 4 servings:
600 g floury potatoes
400 g carrots
salt
1 bunch of chives
4 Vienna sausages
approx. 100 ml milk
1 tablespoon butter
grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon curry powder

How to do it:

1. Wash and peel the potatoes and carrots and cut them into similar sized pieces. Bring to the boil in the COOK & SERVE pot with 300 ml water and 1 teaspoon salt, cover and cook over a low heat for about 20 minutes. Stir from time to time.

2. Meanwhile, wash the chives and cut into small rolls. Pour water into a shallow COOK & SERVE pot and heat up. Let the sausages get hot in it.

3. When the potatoes and carrot are soft, mash them with a potato masher. Add enough milk to make a mash. Season to taste with butter, nutmeg and a little curry. Sprinkle with chive rolls and serve with the sausages.

Alternative: Instead of carrots, it also tastes good with pumpkin, sweet potatoes or celery. Or you can use potatoes only!
