Baked apple

Time of preparation:
15 min. + 20 min. backing time

COOK & SERVE:
Shallow pot 16 cm | 0,3 l


For one serving:
1 red Christmas apple (about 200 g)
1 Soft date without core
3 tablespoons buckwheat
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
some Ceylon cinnamon powder
1 knife tip gingerbread spice
½ teaspoon butter

How to do it:

1. Wash the apple, rub dry and cut out the core.

2. Chop the date finely and mix with buckwheat, sesame seeds, cinnamon and gingerbread spice.

3. Place the apple in the shallow COOK & SERVE pot, fill with the mixture, place flakes of butter on top and bake at 180 degrees convection oven for about 20 minutes.

Tip: Sprinkle even crispier with brittle made from 3 tbsp buckwheat, 1 tbsp sesame seeds and 1 tbsp honey: simply roast together in a coated pan, pour over immediately, let cool and sprinkle over the finished baked apple.
